    The first season is out on DVD. Netflix has it; I'm not sure if it's something Blockbuster would carry.

    blockbuster? netflix? wow. ok, nightwishrocks, go to google, type in "true blood season 1 720p" then add whatever you want - rapidshare, megaupload, whatever u use to DL stuff, and get the whole series in HD. or use a torrent site and get it there. i don't remember the last time i rented a movie.
