    I find DVDs more convenient and more reliable than downloads. Also, my television is way bigger than my computer screen, and I haven't connected the two. Netflix offers a digital download service, but most of the time I get the DVDs anyway. I'm also totally addicted to Netflix's film rating system, lists, and recommendations pages. Maybe that's just me. :D

    my TV is bigger than my monitor too, being that it's 56". but then again, i get HBO HD so i can record/watch the show anyways. as for "renting", i can't justify watching anything but HD, so i would only get blu-ray anyways, and for me it's easy enough where i go to get HD films, drop onto my portable hard drive, and plug that into my PS3 to watch full Blu full 5.1 films. but like you, maybe that's just me. however i do own many blu-rays, and over 600 DVD's but that was before i found how easy it is to DL / transfer and watch. i can get a full 4.7GB HD movie in less than an hour.
