    Never been, one of my co-workers goes up there about once a year. The home office of Cerner is up there, that's the software we use for our lab.

    yep, about 1/2 mile from my house. They took ovor a small town called avondale to get cheap taxes but KC screwed them over and hit them with taxes anyway.

    What'd they do, incorporate them into their city? Tuscaloosa did that to a town call Vance when they started making Mercedes C class vehicles. THat's one HUGE auto plant!

    KC argued that since avondale didnt have a working post office it wasnt a real town anymore. And since KC post office delivered avondales mail then they should get the money.
