sounds like a good paying job bama,, im a machinist myself,, i work for the DoD.. work is very busy, but im in my office right now working on some machine program code..

DC i cant live without my dvr also, but mine decided to quit on me a few weeks ago and it hasnt been repaired yet, but i think i'm just gonna buy a new one..

I saw an infomercial on that, kinda sceptical - let me know how it works. I drive a 4 door F150, hate washing it. I have a long handled brush or I probably wouldn't ever wash it.

heh, I build images for each class of system admin, secrs, techr, stdnt, lab, trng. Then ghost entire classes at once. only way to have free time being 1 guy with 420 total systems. I pay a temp service each year to do student accts for me so I dont have to deal with 800 kids. i just do the tchrs/staff/admin accts. the systems arent the trouble, it's the networked printing thats a bitch

 

I do alright for the size town I live in. Average salaries around here are probably close to 40K. I've been doing it for 19 years total now. DoD, i'm surprised you can get on this site from there - figured they'd block sites like this one.

 

2 320gb western digital scorpio sata drive internal and 4 500gb e-sata external drives for when Im at home.

the external drives are windows ntfs and the internals are linux ext4 journaling.

i dont have your nifty BR hybrid drive but I'd sure like to.

We've got 80+ different apps here is why we can't ghost much - to many different needs. Only ones we could would be nurses stations. We've got a little over 1K w/s's that 2 techs baby sit and the other admin and myself help out from time to time.

 

19 years in the same job nice,, if i were in any other shop the servers wouldnt let my onto alot of sites, but im in a special shop that isnt restricted or monitered by anyone else, its kinda nice here, the head bosses cant even enter my shop..
