Me too, this why I got on DVD. .

I have gotten lots of DVDs lately, I wonder how many DVDs I have now.

I usually go to the library and get then for free, watch and if I like I get a copy. I do that only because after a while after a movie come out, the library DVDs get fully scratched and sometimes are unwatchable, so if I really like the movie I get a copy.

The last 3 years, I kind of became a movie freak. I set day every month and watch whatever is in theater that I feel is worth watching (I watch 4 or 5 movies in that single day I go, my record is 6), then whatever I don't watch I grab on the library later. And sometimes I have to rent or watch online, because sometimes I run to talks about a small movie that is usually not available on the library.

i was gonna dl the many RS links for the Emma Watson on letterman, 8 highlights clips and then the 1.37gb complete vid (in 14 parts). all vids 1080i (this would have taken me days btw.)

so i started to bulk dl the pics first. and i look in the folder, i have all the pics, but there's a zip, its the first highlight vid!

then i notice that BH is doing a countdown for the 15 minute RS wait period. if i leave my laptop on all night it will do all the work!

i never knew that!

heres is a link where haydaddict added a link for the program, and very good steps on how to use it. its very easy once you do it once or twice/

but i think it only runs on firefox. i installed firefox just so i could use it.

firefox is a good browser, some say better than internet explorer.

if you dont want to install firefox, there are other programs, but i dont know them, you would have to ask someone else.

 

I prefer Megaupload. I'm not a fan of the RS waiting period.

 

I was looking at it, and there is a plug in for firefox, and seems I tried firefox 5 or so years ago, is the only browser I use. Well I use IE when for some reason I'm looking for updates on Microsoft, but thats it.

sometimes i can get a dl to go in the 200-300kb/s. but lately im lucky to go over 80kb/s

megaupload is almost unlimited, i get dl's going in the high hundreds kb/s. dl's are lighting quick, and NO wait period!

RS's points system has members addicted to it.

 

Hey if you have a modem, you can just unplug that, close your browser, plug again, and you good to go again. Its a pain in the butt, but for plugging and restarting the moden only take a minute, so is better then the other option.

i think i have 4 RS links in my account, thats it.

people on SP use megaupload like crazy. thats where i usually go for vids.
and they use other non-RS hosts too. although they may be slow, theres no 15 fucking minute wait period.

 

what pisses me off is that they take vids that are less than 200mb and split them anyway, so then you have to dl more of their vids. unless its a total babe like hayden or emma, i skip right past vids with more than i RS link.
