    cool. the model is still evolving ... the bad economy has probably hastened the transition. the cost of NY papers has almost doubled lately .... probably because ad revenues & circulation are down. the increased cost is just gonna further reduce circulation and ad revenues ... I'm afraid it's just a downward spiral at this point. :(

    The one thing I don't like is the chance for mom and pop to advertise. In a paper you can have the coupon clip-out for joe's diner on phun street. But internet advertising is a lot of the times fronted by huge companies that can afford the exposure. There is just something about flipping through a paper to see your story being continued next to a black-and-white picture of a girl in a Sears bra. :)
