Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads.     I think they're OK plug-ins. I think Mozilla is for the Mozilla browser.

    EDIT: I don't think it will do any harm, even if you don't need them.

    dirty you only need to install the plug ins if you want VLC to handle media playing in your browser. i personally do not install them, and use the defaults included with whatever browser i'm using at the time.
