I am at my uncle's house right now. He is paying me 300 dollars to paint the trim and shutters of his house tomorrow. Nine windows, four shutters and the trim to the garage. Pretty good price I think. Kinda an all day project...can get my electric at home turned back on atleast.

Well, I have applied at more places and I talked again with my landlord and gave her 600 bucks, my last and asked if it could buy me some time since I still owe another month with the first fast approaching and she said yes just to keep her informed and send a hundred or two here and there. So that with the electric getting paid soon is a turn in the right direction. It wasn't looking that great the other day, but family and friends get ya thru these things.

(Wondering if I have to do two coats of paint or one on wood trim? It doesn't look all that bad now.)

Yea, if it was a company or something I know I'd be out. Do you know how long it takes paint to dry inuk? I am thinking by the time I paint the ninth window trim I can go back to the first. I don't know if the humidity in florida effects that one way or the other either.

Here = homemade pizza topped with garlic tomatoes onion and chicken with dallups of ricotta, bruschetta, fritattas, blueberry pancakes, cookies, pies, shrimp caesar salads, etc...

nope haven't heard from Jamms in like 10 days.

 

Yea, it is great. About 45 min south of my place in a town called sarasota. Gonna stay until the power goes back on. Being here is great, but I miss the independance. Also, they get up at 5am due to my aunt's job, so they go to bed at 10 or 11 at nite. Kinda not how my body works, but I cannot complain. If it wasn't for them, I would be in my dark apartment right now trying to sleep without a fan in 90 degree heat. It wouldn't be possible.

 

That sucks. He must have things going on, but a quick word wouldn't take long. Especially, with so many awaiting the results of the task he took on. Not complaining, but it would be courteous. Oh well...

Dude, you have no idea! You could take a cold shower and be sweating by the time you dried yourself off with no air conditioning! It is gross. And I wouldn't have ice to make drinks cold...which is the other thing. I haven't had a drink in four days which is different. I feel good. What a novel idea! (Could go for one though...)

 

I think with the odd feelings in phun he must be taking a break.

I know some people here were acting like douches. a couple in particular but I believe at least one of them was banned.
