    It is about a three hour drive from Gainesville to the Cape - Hard to see anything except on a winter clear day during the day time. I have been abot to see some launches over the past 40 years or so if the weather conditions are right. A few years ago in Daytona, on the beach during bike week saw a rocket night launch - very spectacular!
