    I started working for the City of Gainesville while I was going to the U of F, about 40 years ago - been City Engineer and Public Works Director. Now, I have stepped back to Supervising Engineer. Expect to retire in 7 more years unless something very bad or very good happens. More than you wanted to know! :D

    No, mechanical required another 5-hour Thermodynamics course so when I transferred out of Electrical, I went into Civil - I hated Thermo!

    That second thermo course is still on the curriculum and it was a righteous bitch! Once you got past that though, all the other courses seemed a bit less daunting.
