Doctor told me to take it easy for a few days. so I'm relaxing at home again today.

just going to order up some pancakes and sausages from the Lodge. my Brother is going to send me up some caribou meat today too! should be flown over on the plane today.

I had the MRI 2 nights ago. The specialist won't read the results till I see him next Tuesday morning -- the only day he's available at that clinic. Grrr...

That sucks! The wife's boss is married to the doc I use for my back so I don't have to wait like that. He usually puts me in his office and does my stuff on the spot unless he's really covered up. Then he tells me a certain time to come over so I don't have to sit in the waiting room for hours. Her working for a doctor and me working for the hopsital has it's perks.

That's gotta be nice. Mine is a workman's comp case, so I have to go to the company doctors and wait till they cut through the red tape every step of the way.

 

Yep, it is. Helps alot with meds too. She swaps out samples with other offices so most times we don't have to buy the persciption.

I remember you saying that it was workman's comp. Waaaay to shit to have to deal with but I guess so many people have screwed companies with it that they have to do that kind of stuff now.

People do try to take advantage or it. At my place, the work is so demanding that it's a "walk it off, pussy!" job. Lotta blood and cuts and bruises and the whole thing. Men AND women. So you have to have it pretty bad to officially report an injury. A couple people at my place have tried to take advantage, but have not gotten away with it. Hell, if I told you guys all the cuts and bruises I have it'd read like a sports injury report. Waking up for me is like Nick Nolte waking up in the opening scene of North Dallas Forty.

LOL - that's not good! I worked for a moving company for a short time so I know what you're talking about. I was still in high school and playing football at the time though, couldn't do that shit now if I had too.
