    I'm on wireless right now connected @ 48 - if I unplug and go hard wired I would see little to no difference.

    The highest that's offered here is 54. That too depends on your ISP. They can shell out faster speeds if they wanted too but they don't to try to keep consistant speeds for all their customers.

    chuck was one of them and I cannot remember the other........They did not say much but were just pumping up the school and their football program, etc. I said little, just posted the logo of the team that whipped their ass for the national championship a couple of years back....I'm so BAD! :rofl:

    We still have a T1 here but i'm not sure what we pay for it. We've probably got ~ 300 - 400 tops at one time that's actually on the internet and it's just fine for us. You wouldn't want to d/l a movie buy any means but for just normal web traffic it does the job.

    My experience is, for home use, much over 3Mb/s is a waste as I am constantly delayed by slow sites that do not have sufficient servers and routers! IMHO
