Movie doesnt look too good.... but I might go see it just for the Beckinsale eye candy

Underwear scene is just off the charts hot!

Yesterday, UK paper 'The Daily Mail' reported that Kate Beckinsale [photos] had demanded a body double for her latest film because she "loathed" her behind.

The paper reported that the producers would have to pay $2,000 a day for Kate Beckinsale's nude stand-in for a shower scene in 'Whiteout' after she refused to bare her thighs and rear for the camera.

"Kate has a terrible self-image," it quoted an on-set source. "She thinks she is fat and she is always complaining how certain outfits make her bottom look big. Of course, the reality is that she has the most amazing body."

"The script called for her character to be filmed nude in a shower, focusing in on her bottom and thighs. Kate insisted on a double being hired. She was quite open on the set about not liking her body and said she particularly loathed her bottom and was not comfortable baring it."

However, in response to the story, 'Whiteout' producers said today that although they did hire a body double for Kate, it wasn't as a result of any demands by her: "The claims that Kate Beckinsale requested a body double for filming Whiteout are absolutely untrue... As is standard practice on many movies, a body double was hired for several scenes by the production and not at the request of Kate Beckinsale."

Silver Pictures put out an ad for a 5ft 8in brunette, weighing around 126 lbs (holy fat, batman - insert eyeroll here).

"It's a shower scene so there is no intimacy."

The source continued, "Kate just didn’t want to show her bottom, even though everyone on the set was saying how good it looks in jeans. She said she couldn’t face the thought of seeing her butt up on a big screen. She will have the final veto over who stands in for her."
