    I was talking about Ana. She needs to clear her mind and get rid of nagging injuries. Inconsistency and poor play has shattered her confidence.

    Maria is a different story. I think she had a tear in her rotator cuff (same injury baseball pitchers get). She is exactly like Tiger. She had surgery. She played pretty well at the US Open, but she's not yet back to 100%. That will take time. Maria had fighting spirit when she lost ... in the end she just didn't have enough physically. Ana was fighting too, but lacked confidence as soon as anything went wrong.

    I guess I long for the golden age of tennis, connors, borg, mcenroe.

    Kinda like pro basketball. The current talent doesn't appeal to me.

    McEnroe was my fav back then ... Federer now.
