    I can't speak for other cities, but in the Detroit area (and across the Detroit River in Windsor, Canada), there is quite a Scottish contingent. I grew up with a family-owned place called Brown's Fish and Chips not far from me. Then we had Arthur Treacher's fast food fish and chips, too.

    once i was in a host family back at school, and the first breakfast i got over there was...
    chips with lasagne and white beans in tomato sauce, really was she just mentally screwed ? or do all english people eat like that ?
