    US Open update

    he U.S. Open tennis championships have been forced into a Monday finish after today’s schedule got wiped out by rain, but the television coverage won’t be altered significantly this weekend.

    CBS will come on the air at noon Saturday with the last men’s quarterfinal between Rafael Nadal and Fernando Gonzalez, which was suspended by showers Thursday in the middle of a second-set tiebreaker. That will be followed by the men’s doubles final and a women’s doubles semifinals.

    In prime time, when the women’s final originally was scheduled, CBS will air both women’s semifinals beginning at 8 p.m.

    On Sunday, the first men’s semifinal will be televised by ESPN2, the second by CBS, and the women’s final (9-11 p.m.) by ESPN2.

    Monday’s men’s final will be aired on CBS at 4 p.m. ESPN2 will have the women’s doubles final at 1 p.m. Monday.

    you can watch it on the internet. you have to use internet explorer - I could get Firefox to work right. It looks amazing on the computer if you get it to work right. It looks better than non-HD TV.
