That's no joke. It's in fact very true. Australia is still under British rule and she's our head of state

I don't think she's ever been here in my lifetime.

Hi ess! Still awake for a few minutes.

(@Just: I'm on Eastern U.S. time, but I work midnights. I have tonight and tomorrow off -- I stay up all night on my nights off, though, to stay on-schedule.)

Ah, Brisbane. I have dim memories. There was a cinema, and I believe a bar or two.

Brunch is between breakfast and lunch/dinner. Generally, a wee snack or some such.

It's hardly `rule`. We don't have a say in what goes on down there, not really.

She was down there for her Golden Jubilee. I think. Well, recently.

Once your rhythms get into synch, working nights is fine.

Better, actually, because night shifts are little less stressful than day shifts, there are lsee manager types about and because humans are `day` creatures, your brain gets a little......odd. In a good way.

They did studies and everything. Night shift workers have a different brain chemistry, which makes them a touch wappy. ;)

I've been doing it 3 years, and I'm still not comfortable with it. But I wasn't comfortable waking up a 5 in the morning when I worked at my last company a few years ago, either. Basically, I like the going to bed part better than the waking up part.

Do you mean YOU feel more stress?

EDIT: There's a lot of stress on my night job. It gets ridiculous sometimes.
