    Nope they shouldn't but Cheryl always does this. She's so kind hearted you see. It has nothing to do with ratings..... still we get to see a bit of leg... btw the singer she hugged was crap... but they voted her through even so. Would've loved to see the judges all say "No you're crap" after the hug-fest, but of course they couldn't do that. Such a genuine show... ;)

    ive never watched any of these kind of shows, but even i know its not about singing talent but entertainment. pretty girls that are decent singers sell more and get higher ratings than great singers who are average or worse looking. do you think all the female singers over the last 30 years are the best singers? people like looking at pretty people

    She's such a sweetheart on the show. Always treats people with kindness, even when tehy might not deserve it. This girl was really nice and looked amazing but didn't have a strong enough voice. Her wee heart was breaking so Chryl went up to make her feel better.

    A genuinely lovely thing to do i think.

    imo cascada has the most exquisite voice in the music industry, certainly now, maybe ever. An example that the most beautiful women have the most beautiful voices.

    While I dont think a judge jumping into the witness box on court to help a nervous defendant would be appropriate I couldnt say the same for a talent show.
