What you got on tap for today, Bama?

 

Just "busy work" - taking care of work tickets as they come. I've about caught up on my projects till the first week of October thank God. You got anything going on?

 

Just waiting for my car to get fixed.

 

I gotta get the oil changed in my truck, I need to call and see if they can work it in today.

 

I decided to do that kind of stuff myself.

 

I used to but they only charge me $25 - come get it, change it, and bring it back to me. That's well worth it to me. My truck takes 7 quarts so I can hardly do it for that anyway.

 

That's a damn good price.

 

damn that's a big truck bama, mine is only a 5 litre v8. back, forgot our Contractor doesn't open til this afternoon. had to get the rental truck boosted so I drove her around for an hour to charge up the battery.

 

yeah I know, I have no clue how they do it. I guess by purchasing in bulk? They don't use quarts, they've got a pump. They just set it to whatever, turn in on and they're finished.

 

Mine's a v8 too, just takes a lot of oil for some reason. The wife's Expedition is the same.

 

Probably. Wish I could find somewhere that could do it cheaply.

 

ah cool bama. a quart is just under a litre so they are around the same. had a big breaky so no lunch for me. probably just a snack laters on.
