    Worked late. We got stomped on last night with a 2,650-piece truck. I left before it was done. But there were only 20 minutes left on the night shift. (It was way too much for the night shift to do last night -- the rookie manager mis-managed the night and blew it.)

    No, there aren't. But their jobs are different.

    The problem was, Tuesday morning a company bigwig from out of town was scheduled to visit. They scheduled 33% more people Monday night/Tuesday morning for an 1,800-piece truck, leaving time and manpower to impress the bigwig. Then they scheduled 33% fewer people last night so they wouldn't go over the hours they're allowed to "spend." There were 10% call-offs, and we were bombed by a 2,650 truck. (I hope the bigwig was impressed. :? )
