    The weather here is good so it is very likely I will put a few hundred miles on the hog this weekend.

    Did you get much of that Atlanta area rain earlier this week? People seemed to be amazed that it flooded in the flood plain. Imagine that! (hydrology is an area of engineering practice for me, in case you were wondering)

    The Vols game was a bit strange. The inside scoop is that we had a lot more players not up to par due to viruses, but that has not been published as they do not want to appear to be making excuses. We are either weak or unproven at wide receiver this year. The defense played conservative in a bend but don't break approach. And there were several plays that had they gone differently, the point spread would have been as expected. My take is that was one game and that does not by itself mean much. The next few games will tell if we have what the media have projected and expected. ;)

    Glad to see USC beat ol Miss last night!
