I just threw up. I wasn't feeling well. That's why I laid down. I didn't say anything because I was trying to think positive.

 

lot's of snow up here throbbn. worked like a dog all weekend, good to relax this afternoon and tomorrow. w ill fly home tomorrow.

 

That is why I used to build mine - high performance PC for less than a mid range store bought. But the last one just killed me - took me working most every night for over a month to get it right with good parts. I miss the old DOS days when you could really set up PC, before "plug and play."

Great weather here, for the entire week. I am excited that nights are going into the mid 50s in a day or so!

my brother in law had problems when he built his, bad motherboard that fried his ram, he got it working though, but he was out of a computer for a while

I just came across PM's thread, Celebrity and Model Collages and Edits, the other day. About ten years ago, I did a lot of that, most pretty crappy as I was learning, but a few are not embarrassing. I may post a few there in the next couple of days.

The best thing I have done in a while was to get a laptop for when I travel - it is also a back up if/when my desktop crashes, which it did about 6 months ago due to a software invasion (that took me about 4 days to totally clean, reformat, load, configure, etc.). At least I was still functional for communications and finances. :wink: Marky was glad to have a second machine most recently too.

 

It looks fantastic at sig size, but REALLY amazing at full size. There is so much in it, but it still looks clean and uncluttered. It's one of the best I've seen - and that's saying something with all the great sigs around here.

My youngest got the pig flu last week - was a real sick puppy for about three days. The school would not let him back on campus for 7 days.

 

i guess im lucky, ive never had a major computer crash, i do have a laptop but its a couple years old now, i dont use it enough to get a new one

 

It's even better when the second machine is a lap top from work and thus costs nothing! It can't be used for Phun though.

My laptop is coming up on two years old. I did not pay but about 800 for it. It does what I need for it to do, so I will most likely keep it a long time as long as it works. I did get a G3 card for it in August and used it on my week trip to Bristol, Tn in August. The G3 is slower than I am used to but much better than no internet connection at all!
