Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads.     There was some good football games on the tube this weekend. I got a new HD LCD tv this weekend too. :D That's my first one, the differnce in the quality is unreal.

    What brand did you get? My wife and I made the mistake of buying a cheap, entry level flatscreen a few years back. Quality is crap....always too dark, etc etc. We're researching our replacement this time instead of impulse buying.

    I got this one: http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=5623471 . I've got several of them in the hospital for display different boards - like patient tracking, etc... that's done very well for me so I'm giving it a try. Looking at it side by side the picture looked better than Magnavox and Sony even though it was less expensive

    It's in my bedroom by the way - still got a 36" in my den that hasn't went south on my yet. I'll get a bigger one for it when that one goes out.
