Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads.     It's complicated, so much so that I don't think even the folks that drew up the rules know what the hell they're talking about. In the end it's based on a ranking system that many, many rules to it. I combo of a few polls along with computer rankings that come from strenth of schedule, # of top 10 teams beat, average win over other team, etc... All to get to the championship game which is usually the top 2, but even that's not a constant.

    and we have about 30 bowl games a after the regular season is over..

    so 30 games, 60 teams, all during december and january..

    there's no playoff system in college football..

    so the top 2 teams play for the National Title..

    Unless they're not part of the BCS bowls - then they will never get voted up to play. Within the rules it's possible for the top 2 teams but neither the AP nor coaches poll would ever put a non-BCS team in a 1 or 2 slot.
