    Just found out yesterday I got a bald spot about the size of a silver dollar on the top/back part of my head.:confused: I couldn't see it or feel it either cause my hair's so thick. The wife saw it and freaked out. I did too a little. I should know more tomorrow after the dr's appt.

    see that's the strange part - not receding at all, just the spot right by the crown. And 0 of my grandparents, parent, blood uncles on either side has receding hair lines. If that's it i'm the first.

    Baldness/hair loss is inherited from the mother's side of the family. Trace your female lineage and that will provide some info.
