    I think a lot of people forget what you can do with modern studio equipment and software. I've recorded singers before who were awful. I simply whacked their voices through an auto tune and voilà, they sound pitch perfect. The sad truth is that it's much more about how you look these days as opposed to actual raw talent, particularly in mainstream pop.
