I do usually. I turn to the tedious stuff when I feel like I've hit a brick wall in terms of progression.

 

Keyboard playing helps you play a lot of other instruments. I had piano lessons when I was 7-10 years old.

Violin is a painful instrument to play, I get terrible hand cramps, which are not fun.

And I think it's the only instrument they don't make left handed versions of, guess which handed I am.

Same here me and my sisters all got Piano lessons from 9-12, I think it was a long time ago.

My mom made me take piano lessons. I hated them. I wanted to play drums from the very beginning.

 

I am indeed. Just messing around with some stuff

 

I'd like to thank the Academy, etc. etc... LOL

 

I was pushed into playing the violin by my parents from the age of about six. I'm grateful now but I didn't enjoy it much at the time. I played in quite a few concerts, including the Royal Albert Hall, and I used to be so scared I played with my eyes closed.
