    If I may ask, what is your specialized industry?

    Mine is eLearning creation and I don't have many competitors in the job market, but if people don't want to create eLearning, there is no job. Even though I just landed a job 2weeks ago, I now have 2 interviews other full time jobs. After a year of nothing!

    The job I have wants me to relocate and 1 of the 2 new interviews will allow me to stay where I am, so I am really pulling for it to pay well enough for me to stay.

    I suppose I'm a Herpetologist, although I can adapt to work within most areas in the field of conservation.

    Not Ornithology though.

    So what Abby started as on the Primaeval TV series then? I don't know any indivduals in your area that could help with that. I have a friend that started off in a similar industry, and now has 2 jobs.

    1. She works for a state authority to review building proposals to make sure they do not impact the environment, or ANY creatures that reside on/near the property to be developed.

    2. She teaches classes at night school at the local university (biology, conservation, etc)

    She started out of high school going to college and taking care of monkeys at the zoo.

    Sounds like she's working at the other end of things, I would be sent in to develop the environment for Fauna/Flora or to maintain an area. I tended to work on SSSI areas where no building is allowed.

    I've done a bit teaching, but I found it to stressful.
