Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads.     if u want to id your video chipset, and see what the chip itself reports, shut down, cycle power, then when you turn it on, watch fast at the top left. You'll see some info for just a second, then your system will post. that very first screen before the beep is your vid chip booting.

    Those drivers I pointed you to will detect and install any ATI video all the way back to 200xt. After you install those drivers I can show u how to get to your hardware nfo in just 2 keystrokes, if you dont know it.

    Im just trying to figure out what your video is so we can find out if you have the correct drivers installed, so you can change your screen to whatever resolution you want. Since you dont seem to know what it is, i'm trying to help you identify it. no biggie.
