    that was the introduction and usage/ettiquette-protocols for using newsgroups. :) I wrote a few parts of it a long time ago. No webpages involved. It was/is a binaries group for trading pictures. It's where computer images were first shared and traded by collectors. Most of the people around here dont realize it, but there are some legendary scanners and posters around here on phun. Nemesis is ancient. So is Taipan, but they both take a backseat to DeadLamb. The guy has been doing celeb scans and postings since the beginning. The only ones i know of that are older are The MidnightScanner from around 1989 and FatherTed from Rusty-n-Eddies.

    PM knows some really old ones too, like UCO.
