    Uhhh... Calm and Disturbed are entirely different things. Seriously, a dictionary is in order. They are not mutually exclusive.

    Even happiness and sadness are not mutually exclusive.

    For instance: A soldier in battle could remain calm in the face of a disturbance. Just as I am completely calm in the face of her disturbing teeth.
