Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads.     I only have 512 memory and I get no hiccups, sure there are other programs that I cant use but no problem with ff!

    I'm on 3.6, I can't imagine it has solved all the resource problems going to just 3.6.2

    And I used IE8 a lot over the weekend because FF was pissing me off. I must say I was impressed by it. It was a LOT faster than FF...if I could customize IE like I can with FF, I would dump FF altogether. It keeps getting crappier with every new update.

    I'm also on 3.6, 362 ain't available for me yet.

    but I do think that ff is getting better with every new update.
    I have noticed that IE is getting better, but I ain't ready to let Microhard into my computer more than necessary yet

    From my experience with it, ever since the upgrade from 2.x to 3.x, FF has kept going downhill :?

    I'll say Im not as impressed with FF as I used to be, certainly, but it still alows me a lot of customization and control the others dont. I absolutely wont go back to the web tracking crap that is IE and .NET, but then, if youre running a windows newer than XP sp1 you phone home everything you do anyhow, so it probably doesnt matter.

    totally agreed, but they have fixed a lot of problems in this last upgrade!

    there are a few more left but they totally deny that those problems exist!

    The resource problem has been an issue in every release since 3.x so I have no idea why they can't fix it yet! :?

    Right now, FF is using 840,264k of memory on my machine :?

    won't move the coffee machine. I have just about a whole building to myself now :) I don't want them coming over here for coffee...
