    heh no doubt scribe!

    I used to do that job too. since we are smaller communities that job is one step below an Air Traffic Controller. they are called Observer/Communicators.

    they are trained in Aviation Weather. they do hourly weather every hour and special weather observations when the weather changes. they are trained in Radio Communications too. they give the wind, altimeter, runway conditions and any possible traffic to inbound and outbound aircraft.

    it's up to the aircraft to decide who lands first.
