The first piece of advice to just enjoy the boobs was pretty spot-on. If you're that deeply concerned that a chick who gets naked for a living and you NEVER HAVE A CHANCE OF HAVING A RELATIONSHIP WITH is on a "downward spiral" then you are way too emotionally stunted to have real relationships with real people.

What Lohan did to herself is somewhat depressing but I don't let it consume me.

That said, I think you are far too concerned with Bridget and reading wayyyy too much into pictures and attempting to be an armchair psychologist with, again, a person you do not know and have no chance whatsoever in having a relationship with.

Let's use another example. Ricci. You saw those pics. Do you think that's a downward spiral too, or just an example of a bad night gone out of control? Because Ricci has NEVER been shown to be that fucked up in public before.
