    Yeah, I am pecking away at mine.......

    I have auxiliary lights on my bike, that I modulate for driver visibility and they stopped working a few weeks ago. I replaced the halogen bulbs last weekend late and that did not fix the problem, so today I pulled them all apart to see if I could identify the problem....long story short, I could not. The switch is tripping the relay as I can here it clicking. I do not know if there is an inline fuse or not. If there is, it is under the gas tank and I am not going to all that trouble not knowing if there is even on there or not. Taking the tank of is a major pain in the ass!

    I also got new boots with much thicker soles, like all terrane tire treads. I reqlly like the grip I get on pavement with these boot, but they are so much taller in the toe, that I had to raise the gear shift lever in order to get my foot under the lever to up shift. Now, I have to pick up my entire leg and foot to down shift. Don't like that, so I am looking into getting a shifter replacement.......one of a type called a "heel kicker." Not having much luck with that.. Think I will address the light problem next Friday as I have made an appointment for first thing that day to take the bike to the Harley shop.....then I will get back on the shifter issue. Maybe new boots would be easier. :lol:

    Now I need to go to the pet store to get my dog another collar....she has out grown her current one. :D

    I love to putter about! And, I like to stay reasonably busy. Man, I can't tell you just how much I wish I was in a position to retire! But, just cannot afford it right now......:sad:

    Have you checked the currency at the relay?


    I would have made anew shifter myself that fit my demands, but that's just me... and I don't have a bike either, atleast not a working one!
