I was gonna make a restore point and remove it later.. I got no clue what it is doing on my hd, nor how it got there! was just wondering if some program needs it to work!

 

I could imagine if it only were on the laptop it could have something to do with the wireless network, but on this one that is connected by wire?

 

No logs on that UPS. I don't monitor them on the network yet, only the 1's in the racks that I have the software on the servers that's connected to them are monitored. No errors what-so-ever in any of the switches. Haven't done any firmware, nothings been done, the stack is just acting up and unforetuneatly it's the main stack that has about 60 different servers on it.

I only know enough to be dangerous on the switches. But, we've never had 350's. We did have 450's and still do have a few but we're in the process of moving them out. All 5510's in high traffice areas and the 470's in low traffic. I belive the differences would be better routing capabilites and maybe a little more user friendly firmware setups would probably be the only differences.

470s are 10/100 according to nortel support (kept my password from work ) You have 60 servers running 10/100? Are they 470-24 or 470-48 pwr or t's? Have you checked the known issues for the 3.7.3 firmware.

Winpcap is a user level competitor with the admin level SysInternals.
I doubt you have need for either. Unless you're either chasing someone (network sec) or being chased/ exploring (hacking)

Apparently there's a DC>DC converter module that can sometimes be a problem.

Looks like software should be 5.1.5 frowm july of last year. Way too long to be a bug, unless you have a new "expert" who's horking things up
