I'd guess 2001? Before that, I just hated the little turd on abncf. There were a few years there where i just stayed on usenet or leached on celebs-n-models on ef.net .
I think I found celebworld about summer 2001. I think. It kinda blurs into one long download

Right in that era I was on Usenet all the time for my guy stuff. And DAINews. That's it. I belonged to the non-pay places, but I never went there. (Kind of like now. I'm a member just about everywhere in one way or another.) 2001 was the year my wife left me, so after that it's a blur for couple years.

 

I also bought my dot-com that year (EDIT: The year before), and spent time on learning programming and DreamWeaver.

 

I still have my dot-com.

We went from our parents in the military service to Web sites we used visit to a guy who got kicked off a bunch of sites but made it big with his own celebrity gossip Web site. Then I mentioned that I have my own Web site (dot-com).
