    Well, you can find it at low prices at EB games or Gamestop but it's rare. I found it at 20$ with the first Battle for Middle Earth (very poor game), Battle for Middle Earth 2 (Collector's Edition and it's EXCELLENT) + Rise of the Witch-King (similar with a new faction and new story + new units for each factions). It's like the Battle Chest from Blizzard except there's no official playthrough guide.

    Then you should try it. It's all about medieval battles with siege weapons.

    Factions are Elves (nice archers), Dwarves (best endurance), Goblins (works well in number), Men of the West (standard, the basic faction), Isengard (nice ground units) and Mordor (same than Goblins but having the Attack Trolls with large maces as massive siege units).

    I might pick it up. My main problem is getting obsessive. I got waaaaay too involved with WoW. I was playing 15-20 hours a day for several years. It got to be a bit much when I started playing at work on my own laptop.
