I have a couple of questions.. If I make a new thread and you lock it for me after the first post. can I still edit that post?

second, if I for some reason don't want to keep editing that post. could that post be assigned to someone else so that he could be able to edit that single post?

b) no, only mods can edit posts of others.

 

I thought users are able to still edit their own locked threads. I just checked and apparently thats not the case. Just so you know

b. I didn't mean edit the posts of others, I meant make the post belong to someone else like if they were the ones that made it

 

So to say, to transfer them to another user who isn't staff? Im pretty sure thats not possible. He needs power anyway and you cant give such permissions out to certain users, only to a usergroup. Now you could say, why not making a second usergroup where you can add him to, but im afraid that be way to elaborate.

What is possible though (also or of course for normal users) to subsribe to a thread. So whenever there is a new post f.e. they'd get some kind of a notice. You yourself can set in what form you'll get told. In a email or as a simple notice in the UserCP.

last post appears to be 1479, and considering that phun always shows 15 posts per page this sounds reasonable...

it was weird, my browser said it had 102 pages, and even had a 'clickable' for 'last page' , but now it just shows 99 pages like it should..
