Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    I would think if you have a clean (empty) eHD and you only move data files, you should be OK. But I would check the eHD in safe mode to check for any exe files....if found, delete immediately! :2cent:

    Im talking to my brother now ... he is the nerd :D he helped me out so often. I had the same thing two times...

    Download Processhacker (preferably zip) and then start the program. This program does everything, you can track down the task and so you can see where its located and so on. Kill this folder.
    This must work.

    edit: Look for the suspicious task, locate it so you know what file it is. Then kill the process and then you can delete the folder it is in.

    Viruses usually tend to attack the C: drive and/or the system root.

    Have you tried scanning with an online virus scanner? http://www.eset.com/online-scanner

    There's also Kaspersky's but it's currently offline. :roll:
