    Unfortunately what started off as a debate on the UK elections has perhaps gone a bit too far in a personal rivalry between myself and Arespilgrim in particular. I think although we have both wildly differing opinions on matters, throughout the thread things have generally been little more than heated banter, and lively opinion.

    However Ares has now posted a PM I sent him on the board (is that actually allowed? It seems a bit churlish at best?). I don't think there's anything in that PM or the thread in particular that could be classed as trolling or rule-breaking, but I feel the thread has probably gone too far now and is in danger of becoming a personal slanging match which I really don't want. I think if any Mod were to read the thread from start to finish you'd see that although often heated and lively it was never more than a good opinionated debate, but perhaps now it may be a good idea to lock it before it gets too out of hand and personal?
