  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    no problem. just a discussion on various sigs sizes which eventually included gifs.

    I think it started out with talking about clintionio ... the place that will allow you to rotate sigs. when people use that host the pages load her VERY slowly.

    huge sigs also slow page loads.

    everyone here is well within the rules. :beerchug:

    I must confess, you got to me a little bit. (2 days).. Not much get under my skin but I suppose being really tired helped!

    any sig under 100kb won't affect the forum, especially those that are hosted on phun.. and since there are only 15 of them at a time, and most browsers store them a while they won't be affecting the load time cause they are only getting loaded once!

    That is why I made this one. this is totally maxed out it is almost 1,5Mb big!:) was actually quite hard to make it that big! And With my lousy connection I don't notice any difference! Only the first time loading it takes some time
