    I have premium accounts for both because I don't want any restrictions on downloading.

    I can get a 1.4 gig DVD rip from RS in 5 minutes or less...even faster from Hotfile...I download 5 links simultaneously

    Only on pre-detected files. RS does have tracking if it's a file they know is going to be worth chasing, like kiddie stuff. (I approve in that instance), but for the most part it isnt worth their time.

    yes.. tried it with a different "testdrive" and it booted up just perfect on that.. gonna try again with the other hdd, I was formatting it while I was away, and I thought it would actually done it when I came home again.. but it didn't!

    looked a little, Hiren's or Bart's utility cds sounds like erd commander... only useful when there actually is something on the hdd to fix, not to get the hardware to work!

    Actually they are win PE environments. They look and act just like an install of winxp and have a whole bunch of tools to fix stuff. Got a virus/whatever keeping you from removing files? boot up hirens and rip them out of your main installation. Lost passwords? bypass them. Corrupted registry? repair or replace that hive. There are tons of things that can be done with a live cd environment.
