Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads.     Helmut Newton takes great photos of women, powerful women. An example of his work fits the ethos of this thread IMO.

    If any one person was responsible for a shift in fashion/erotic/portrait photography starting in the late '60's/early '70's it was Newton. As one of a number of individuals creating a new look and feel, today his influence is huge.

    I only wanted to point out to Sabre - and I think he knows me well enough :roll: - the source of the photo was a professional rather than amateur. That said, our host decides what photos to choose - it's his thread.

    For me, and most likely anybody else who is not familiar with Helmut Newton, this photo does give off a very amateur feel..IMO anyways. Great photo either way.

    I'm happy you pointed it out Persevere, I asked early on in the thread for anybody to point out photos that I've mistaken for amateur work.
