    I rarely go out to downtown Denver anymore. I only live about 15 to 20 minutes from downtown (unless traffic is bad) but it's just not that much fun anymore. I'd rather stay in the 'burbs...better bars in this area :)

    The only bar I really do like downtown is called Lodo's Bar and Grill. It ists kitty corner across the street from Coors Field and they have a bar up on the rooftop. It's beautiful sitting out there drinking beer in the middle of summer. :)

    "Dive" is a way to describe a shitty looking place. You can call any local establishment that is kind of shabby a dive.

    A wideboy to me is basically the kind of person who goes around acting like the big man in the hope that it might detract from his empty personality. He'd be a bit of a chauvinist, he'd start fights fights with people for no reason other than being drunk. That kind of thing.
