    It depends, they are all from different areas of the central Colorado mountains...but usually about 1-1/2 to 3 hours depending on how far away and how rough the roads are. Many of the places in the pix are only accessible with a 4 wheel drive

    I have to say I find the thought of Mile driving his truck through the mountains strangely sexy.... :naughty:

    Not long after I moved here I went to the top of Pkies Peak which is over 14,000' in elevation...it was 65° in Colorado Springs at the base and it was in the 20's and snowing sideays at the top :-o

    LOL!! No, we drove to the top...it's like a 25 mile trip to the top by road.

    At that elevation I would pass out if I tried to hike it :lol:

    There's quite a few, but all I ever saw were deer and elk (for the big animals). But there are bears and wolves and mountain lions and big horn sheep here as well :)
