Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads.     I'm afraid you'll have to choose Save File for each specific file types you want.

    Or, if you have a downloads folder (where everything you download goes in there), you can simply set it as the default download folder:

    Options -> General. Tick "Saves files to" and choose your folder.

    Then be sure to untick "Show the Download window". From now on, everything you download will automatically be saved to your folder without the Download dialog box showing up.
