    I have worked all my life......traveled very little until about 5 years ago....I want to see this country via Harley. I figure that will take be about 5 or 6 years, assuming I can leave Gainesville in late April and return in October. Not very interested in biking north of here between November and March! Cold is one thing, but frigging freezing or below is quite another on a bike.

    I really want to travel too... but I want to go back to Europe and Australia. Up north is beautiful in the fall. That sounds like it would be a fun trip though! But very long! LOL

    I would like to see all of North America that is road wise navigable, preferably paved roads. I have friends all over the country that I would see, including a cousin in Alaska.

    yes the road is very good in most places, there is always some construction someplace, you will get used to it in no time, there are heaves from time to time, but they are easy to spot and mostly at the bottom of hills.
