oh man. it's 13C/55F out there. I'm sitting on a block of ice.

I think I lost 5 pounds in sweat since Summer hit.

Am I a Prick?

Probably so.

I was riding on the path friday afternoon around 2pm. It was 94 degrees and HUMID. I was starting my 2nd lap(I do 3, each lap is about 6 miles). This path parallels a stream. I started coming up on a section where the stream kinda turns into a small pond where sometimes kids swim/wade. There were about 10 kids and adults sitting on the path. Apparently they had been swimming and were just chllin'. Well. they were taking up the whole path, which is about 7-8 feet wide. I start hitting my bell to let 'em know I'm coming so they'll get the fuck out of my way, but they don't move very quickly. The closer I get the louder I ring the bell. Finally they start to move and I see a little opening. Just as I start to go between 'em a kid steps in my way. I go flying and hit the ground. I hear a kid crying(he's about 11 or 12). A young lady asks me if I'm okay, I say "yes". Another guy yells at the kid, so I assume it was his fault, even though I could have stopped instead of trying to squeeze through a tight spot. I tell the young lady I'll likely be coming through again. She told me they'd be gone. I asked the kid if he was okay, but he continues crying. He was standing up, so it probably wasn't serious, although I really didn't care about the kid. I got back on my bike and finished up my ride. Man, I can be such a prick sometimes.
