I doubt she will serve more than half of her sentence (likely less than 3 weeks, which is normal for short jail sentences. With good behavior, most only serve about 25% of their entire sentence). Plus, she does look better since being forced to lay off of the drugs. As miserable as she will be in jail, it may turn out to be somewhat of a cathartic experience for her once the shock of prison life and becoming unplugged from society wears off. Particularly since she is famous, and will undoubtedly be separated from the general population. One of the reasons why she likely won't stay behind bars for her entire sentence. like Paris Hilton, it simply wasn't cost effective to make certain she was always separate and looked after.

In England, if you get sentenced you do the time straight away. you are not normally allowed to go and put a saucy outfit on go and get a coffee and pose for the paps.

 

Here in the US, unless it's a serious crime, they tell you when the sentence will start so you can prepare. Lindsay's sentence will begin on July 20th.

Because asking him to leave would be mean. And if you protest or raise your fist to the nice burglar they'll haul you off to jail and give the poor oppressed thief a ride home. Wouldn't want him straining his back hauling away your nice flat-screen and all.

Sorry but according to California State Law...if you receive two consecutive sentences related to DUI and/or breach of probation...you MUST fulfilled both sentences.

 

Yup that's right. Should be able to shoot 'em in the back whilst they're running for their life. You commit a crime you lose your human rights.

Recently some prisoner was awarded £50,000 (I think that's the figure) because he couldn't get his tooth ache fixed in prison. We have Afghanistan war veterans with no legs who get nothing.

Also courtesy of the European Court Of Human rights we can't send terrorists back to Afghanistan/Pakistan/Anywhere if there is the teeniest chance that they might not "be welcome" over there, ie they might get a bit of a slapping. Strikes me they should've thought of that before trying to bomb the hell out of us over here.

Blobby's comments were funny, and even in jest, nearer to the mark than you would think.
Sadly in Britain, burglary is'nt taken seriously at all by the law, and burglars are pretty much given carte blanche.
Still, I keep a baseball bat handy upstairs, and if any thief wants to give my house a try, I'd be more than happy to oblige with a good crack on the skull.
